Hyderabad: Officials inspected the ongoing construction works at Darussalam Drainage and MJ Bridge under Goshamahal limits on Tuesday, ahead of the Ganesh immersion.
During the inspection, officials directed the concerned departments to speed up the ongoing works and complete them at the earliest in the view of final immersion arrangements.
The officials also visited the main procession routes designated for the final-day Ganesh immersion and reviewed traffic and safety arrangements.
They directed officials to complete the works on time to ensure public safety, smooth traffic movement and hassle-free arrangements during the festival.
Kajal Singh, IPS, DCP Traffic-II, Hyderabad, along with P. Uday Kumar, IAS, Zonal Commissioner, GHMC, J. Raghavendra Reddy, DCP L&O, Golconda Zone, Hyderabad City Police, Dhanalaxmi, ACP Traffic, Golconda Zone, and other concerned officials were present.
