Hyderabad: Man Sentenced to 2 Years for Assaulting Minor

 Hyderabad: The Fast Track Special Judge for expeditious trial and disposal of rape and Pocso Act cases on Tuesday sentenced one Ram Kumar, 25, to two years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 3,000 for assaulting a minor. The victim was awarded a compensation of Rs 1 lakh.

Police said Kumar, a native of Uttar Pradesh, worked at a marble site in LB Nagar. He was arrested under IPC 354 and Section 12 of the Pocso Act for assaulting the minor.
