Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a man lost his life after being bitten by a highly venomous krait snake while handling it at a farmhouse in the Rajendranagar area of Hyderabad.

The deceased, identified as Nawab, had reportedly caught the snake on the farmhouse premises. Instead of safely containing or relocating the reptile, he allegedly held it in his hands and was playing with it when the krait suddenly bit him.

Following the incident, Nawab was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. However, despite the best efforts of doctors, his condition deteriorated rapidly, and he succumbed to the effects of the venom within three hours of the bite.

Authorities and wildlife experts have highlighted the incident as a serious reminder of the dangers posed by venomous snakes. They have urged the public not to attempt handling or capturing snakes without proper training or protective equipment, and to instead contact trained snake rescuers or wildlife officials when such situations arise.
