HYDERABAD: In 2024, only three Indian cities recorded over ₹1 lakh crore in primary home sales, with Hyderabad among them, according to the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (Credai). The top three cities were Gurugram (₹1,09,375 crore), Mumbai (₹1,05,323 crore) and Hyderabad (₹1,03,321 crore).

Credai Hyderabad members said the figures reflect sustained demand for new homes in urban markets. “Urban markets continue to grow despite talk of a slowdown. Developers are scaling successfully with product-market fit,” said B. Jagannath Rao, president-elect, Credai Hyderabad. He added that Pune and Bengaluru are catching up, and more cities may soon cross the `1 lakh crore mark.
