Hyderabad: The Healthcare Reforms Doctors Association (HRDA) has urged the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) to enforce the interim orders issued by the Telangana High Court regulating fee collection for postgraduate (PG) medical and dental admissions for 2025–26.

In a representation submitted to the university Vice Chancellor, the association expressed serious concern over alleged violations by several private medical and dental colleges.

According to association, the High Court had categorically regulated the fees to be collected for Category a and B (MQ-1) PG seats, pending final adjudication of the matter. The interim orders were binding. The association alleged that several institutions are flouting the court orders by demanding fees in excess of the permitted amounts, coercing and intimidating students with threats of admission cancellation, denial of joining, or withholding access to academic activities.

The association has demanded that KNRUHS issue a clear and binding circular to all affiliated private medical and dental colleges, directing strict adherence to the High Court’s interim orders on fee collection.
