Jangaon (Warangal): Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday wondered how a drunkard could proclaim himself to be a “jatipita” (father figure) referring to the Bharata Rashtra Samithi calling former chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao as the father of Telangana.

Addressing a huge gathering at Shivunipally village in Station Ghanpur constituency of Jangaon district on Sunday, the Chief Minister also warned of exposing the misdeeds and blatant corruption of Chandrashekhar Rao and his family members in the days to come in the Assembly.

“I have already mentioned the list of Chandrashekhar Rao’s wrongdoings in the Assembly. What I've shared so far is just till the 'interval' (like in a cinema). Before the Assembly sessions conclude, I will reveal the complete list of Chandrashekhar Rao's misdeeds, exposing everything," he said amidst thunderous reaction from the crowds.

On the claims of Chandrashekhar Rao being a jatipita, Revanth Reddy said the leaders of the Telangana movement like Konda Lakshman Bapuji and Prof. Jayashankar should be called the founders of the state because of their genuine and relentless fight and sacrifices that they made for the sake of Telangana statehood."

A person, who has looted lakhs of crores, and drank the blood of Telangana’s people can never be the father of Telangana," he pointed out.

During his visit to Jangaan, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stones for various development projects worth Rs 800 crore.

Over the past decade, Revanth Reddy said Chandrashekha Rao has accumulated a debt of `8.29 lakh crore for the state. Despite this massive amount, only `1.53 lakh crores were paid, which he deemed as a sign of poor financial governance.

The funds mismanaged under Chandrashekhar Rao’s leadership could have been used for the welfare of the people. If this money had been utilised effectively, every poor person in the state could have been given a home, and the loans of Rs 70 lakh farmers could have been waived.

He highlighted that the Congress government had waived off `20,610 crores farmer loans and provided 57,946 government jobs to unemployed youth, while the BRS government had failed to address the state's pressing issues.

Accusing Chandrashekhar Rao of turning Telangana from a prosperous state into a financially struggling one, Revanth Reddy vowed to restore the state’s welfare agenda in coming years.

He took a sharp dig at former finance minister Harish Rao and expressed his readiness to discuss the various irrigation projects like Sriramsagar, Nagarjunasagar, Koilsagar, and Manjeera.

Revanth Reddy sarcastically remarked, "What do children know about serious matters? KCR, you’re the one who should answer. If KCR truly has guts, why doesn’t he come out and speak to the people, why is he hiding behind his son and son-in-law, instead of confronting the public directly,” he questioned.

When Chandrashekhar Rao never interacts with the people, why does he continue to receive perks and salaries as the Opposition leader? He further mocked KCR's past claims of making millions from growing capsicum, asking him to reveal the technique to the people. "Tell the people how you earned a hundred crores. What’s the secret?" he asked.

Revanth Reddy praised the Orugallu region for its rich historical significance and vibrant spirit. He outlined the substantial development plans for Warangal, announcing that a total of `6,500 crore has been allocated for key infrastructure projects.

He said Warangal will be developed on par with Hyderabad, ensuring that the region receives equal attention and resources for its advancement, he assured
