President, PM, HM Greet Telangana on Formation Day

The young State has a rich cultural heritage and a vibrant modern ecosystem of economic and technological development: Prez Murmu

Hyderabad: President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the nation in congratulating Telangana on State Formation Day on Monday.

In her message, President Murmu said: “This young state has a rich cultural heritage and a vibrant modern ecosystem of economic and technological development. I wish that the people of Telangana march ahead on the path of progress and prosperity.”

Prime Minister Modi in a post on ‘X’ said: “Greetings to the wonderful people of Telangana on their Statehood Day. The state is known for making innumerable contributions to national progress.” He noted that the NDA government had taken several steps to improve the ease of living in Telangana.

Union home minister Amit Shah extended greetings, calling the people of Telangana brothers and sisters. “With its rich culture, heritage, and hardworking people, Telangana shines brightly on India’s ethno-cultural map. May the state reach new heights of prosperity,” he said on ‘X’.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that though there are two different Telugu states, the Telugu people and the community were one. “Competing with each other in development. Telangana and Andhra Pradesh should reach the top position to emerge as unbeatable powers,” he said and called on every Telugu citizen to be a part of this journey.
