Honest RTC Conductor Returns ₹3 Lakh To Passenger

HYDERABAD: An RTC conductor, Saritha, belonging to Shadnagar, set an example of honesty by returning `3 lakh left behind by a passenger. On Saturday, Jahangir, a businessman from Shadnagar, travelled to Hyderabad by bus with his wife as he was proceeding for the Hajj pilgrimage. After alighting at Afzalgunj and proceeding towards Nampally, he left behind the bag containing the cash.

Conductor Saritha spotted the bag, informed driver Narasimhulu, and secured the money. Realising the bag had been left behind, Jahangir rushed to the bus stand. Saritha and Narasimhulu handed over the entire sum to him. She was appreciated by transport minister Ponnam Prabhakar for her honesty.
