HMWSSB Seizes 13 Illegal Water Motors in RB Nagar
The water board’s vigilance wing removed unauthorised motors connected to drinking water pipelines in Kotwalguda to prevent supply pressure issues.

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) vigilance wing seized 13 illegal motors connected to drinking water pipelines during inspections in RB Nagar of Kotwalguda in the Shamshabad zone on Wednesday.
The vigilance team conducted special inspections in Division 8, Kotwalguda ward, and removed the motors installed directly on drinking water supply pipelines to draw water. According to HMWSSB, the illegal use of motors can reduce water pressure in the distribution network and affect the supply to other consumers. The water board said special inspections would continue to curb the use of unauthorised motors.
