HMWSSB Joint MD Visits Bengaluru Water Board to Study Treated Wastewater Reuse

Hyderabad:HMWS&SB joint managing director Mayank Mittal visited the Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWS&SB) and studied the best practices, as part of a tour coordinated by the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI).

He reviewed the functioning of the Kadubeesanahalli sewage treatment plant (STP) and the treated wastewater reuse project. He also toured the project site to understand the technologies being used, the operational and maintenance systems, the wastewater treatment process, and the methods adopted for the distribution and utilisation of treated water.
