Hindu Organizations Playing an Active Role in the Campaign for BJP Candidates in the Municipal Elections
RSS and its frontal organisations’ leaders and activists organising group meetings in the colonies and door-to-door campaigns in the Municipalities
ADILABAD: Hindu organisations are playing an active role in the campaign for BJP candidates contesting as ward members in the Municipal elections. Hindu organisations are conducting meetings in the colonies in support of the BJP candidate. Some of the Hindu organisations and frontal organisations of RSS are preparing ground in favour of the BJP candidates.
On Tuesday, along with local MLA Palvai Harish Babu, Prominent Hindu activist Radha Manohar Das attended a meeting in the Adarshnagar in Kagaznagar town and insisted on unity among the Hindus and appeaed the people to vote for leaders who act as custodians of Hindu culture and traditions.
A large number of people attended the meeting organised as part of the election campaign. BJP MP Raghunandan Rao also participated in the election campaign in the Kagaznagar town.
Hindu organisations like RSS and ‘Hindu Vahini’, Bajarang Dal, ‘Samajika Samarasata Vedika’ and many other Hindu organizations actively taking part in the campaign in the wards in the Municipalities where BJP leaders are sitting MLAs, while Godam Nagesh is sitting MP of Adilabad.
BJP is focusing on the Kagaznagar, Adilabad, Asifabad, Khanapur, Bhainsa and Nirmal Municipalities and alsothe Mancherial Municipal Corporation. Adilabad MP Godam Nagesh is also actively participating in the meeting being organised locally. BJP’s Vijay Sankalp rallies are being organised in the Municipalities. Women and youth are participating in large numbers in the BJP and Hindu organisations' meetings.

Local sitting BJP MLAs are coordinating with the state-level leaders and their visits to the election campaign and organising programmes in the wards.
BJP leaders are also intensified election campaign in Bellampalli Municipal,y where BJP is gradually gaining ground, though the area is once strong hold of the Left wing. BJP MLAs Payal Shankar of Adilabad, Palvai Harish Babu of Sirpur (T), Aleti Maheshwar Reddy of Nirmal and Ramarao Patel of Budhole are eyeing on winning the municipal chairman post for the first time.
