High Court Halts Akhanda 2 Premieres; Issues Fresh Notices to 14 Reels & BookMyShow
Court questions repeated Telangana Govt orders, considers suo motu contempt against officials; hearing adjourned to tomorrow at 10:30 AM.

The Akhanda 2 premiere show was halted on Thursday after the High Court intervened and cancelled the scheduled screening. The Court expressed strong displeasure over the Telangana Government issuing the same orders repeatedly, asking why suo motu contempt proceedings should not be initiated against CV Anand ,Principal Secretary, Home Department.
During the proceedings, the Court issued notices to 14 Reels LLP, the producers of Akhanda 2, and to BookMyShow for allegedly facilitating the premier without proper clearance. The notices are to be served via email.
The matter has been posted for further hearing tomorrow December 12.
