Heritage Dept, Nizam's Museum Plan Internship

Applications are invited for part-time one month internship programme to engage directly with Hyderabad’s royal legacy under the guidance of the Nizam Museum curator.

Hyderabad: The department of heritage and HEH Nizam’s Museum have signed a memorandum of inderstanding (MoU) to promoting heritage preservation, museology, conservation and cultural tourism. The collaboration will focus on conducting internship programmes, public awareness and capacity building in heritage sector.

The MoU was signed in the presence of heritage department director Prof. K. Arjun Rao, deputy director P. Nagaraju and HEH Nizam’s Museum curator Dr Suresh.

The key objectives, according to a statement, include providing academic and practical exposure to students, researchers with support from the heritage department officials. Joint training, exhibition planning, and museum education will be conducted in coordination with Nizam Museum.

Graduates and postgraduates in history, archaeology, museology, literature and Hheritage studies are eligible to apply at curatorhehnm@gmail.com by January 10 next.
