Heavy Rains Lash North, East and Central Telangana
Heavy downpours have been recorded across Adilabad, Asifabad, Nirmal and Mancherial
Hyderabad: North, East and Central parts of Telangana have been witnessing non-stop rainfall since last night, with the weather trackers placing several districts on high alert.
According to Telangana Weatherman, heavy downpours have been recorded across Adilabad, Asifabad, Nirmal and Mancherial, with rains expected to spread to Nizamabad, Jagitial, Peddapalli, Bhupalapally and Mulugu within the next two hours.
Moderate to heavy showers are forecast for Kamareddy and Medak, which will likely extend to Siddipet, Sircilla and Karimnagar districts over the next few hours.
In Hyderabad, only drizzles and light showers are likely till afternoon, with chances of heavier spells developing later in the day. Moderate rain is expected to continue across the city.
The impact of the low-pressure area (LPA) system is far from over, with widespread rainfall predicted across Telangana over the next 5–6 days.
Overnight and early morning spells are expected to be particularly intense in North, Central and Eastern Telangana, with a high alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall in these regions.
