Heavy rainfall battered Hyderabad’s Old City for around 30 minutes, leaving its historic landmark with visible damage.

As soon as the information was received by the Charminar security staff, they quickly reached the spot and cleared the debris from the area.
The incident occurred following the 37 mm of rainfall that lashed the city last night.
With heavy rains forecast by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) until Saturday, September 26, officials need to remain alert at historical monuments, including the Charminar.
