Hyderabad: Harvard Kennedy School has invited Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to be the keynote speaker at its first-ever AI Policy Symposium scheduled in March. A media statement issued by Chief Minister's Office (CMO) on Saturday said that Revanth Reddy was the only Indian political leader invited to address the event.

Revanth Reddy was also invited to inaugurate the symposium along with Harvard Kennedy School dean Jeremy. The invitation was extended in person on the Harvard campus by symposium organisers led by Ruxanda Renita.

Revanth Reddy said he would consider delivering the keynote address virtually from Hyderabad and may join a high-level panel discussion with global leaders and technology experts focusing on AI infrastructure and public policy frameworks.
On the final day of his engagements at Harvard University in Cambridge-Boston, Massachusetts, Revanth Reddy interacted with multiple delegations, student groups and alumni bodies from different Harvard schools, as well as participants connected to other institutions including Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Columbia University.

Discussions covered leadership approaches, economic development pathways, sustainability, environmental priorities, and targeted welfare models for farmers, women and youth.
The Chief Minister outlined his long-term governance vision under the Telangana Rising 2047 framework, highlighting growth opportunities, inclusive development and empowerment-driven partnerships. He spoke about policy challenges and innovation-led progress, emphasising how Telangana aims to position itself as a forward-looking investment and knowledge hub.
Responding to students who requested that he teach leadership lessons, Revanth Reddy said such instruction was best left to Harvard’s distinguished faculty, adding that he preferred open two-way conversations built on shared learning rather than acting as a professor, the statement said.

He encouraged students and alumni of Indian origin to stay connected with development initiatives back home and act as ambassadors for Telangana’s growth story. Several participants expressed willingness to contribute their skills and expertise to the state’s future growth.
