Harish to Meet Justice Ghose Today, to Prove Additional Information on Kaleshwaram Project
Harish Rao, according to a press release from his office, sought an appointment with Ghose and has been asked to be at the commission’s office in BRK Bhavan at 11 am on Thursday.
Hyderabad: Former irrigation minister and senior BRS leader T. Harish Rao will meet Justice P.C. Ghose heading the judicial commission of inquiry into the Kaleshwaram project barrages and submit additional information.
Harish Rao, according to a press release from his office, sought an appointment with Ghose and has been asked to be at the commission’s office in BRK Bhavan at 11 am on Thursday.
The former irrigation minister had already presented himself before the commission on June 9, and responded to several questions posed by the commission. It is learnt that the commission had then suggested that if Harish Rao had any more information to share, he could seek time from it.
Following developments after the June 9 hearing, particularly on matters relating to issues surrounding Cabinet approvals for the project and some issues pertaining to Medigadda barrage, Harish Rao sought an appointment and the request was approved, it is learnt.
