Hanamkonda Hosts Har Ghar Tiranga Rally
Teachers’ MLC Malka Komaraiah attended as the chief guest. Students, youth and members of the public participated, carrying the national flag and raising slogans including Vande Mataram and Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
HANAMKONDA: A Tiranga rally was held in Hanamkonda on Thursday evening as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. Organised under the leadership of BJP Hanamkonda district president Kolan Santosh Reddy, the rally began at the Thousand Pillar Temple and concluded at the Ambedkar statue.
Teachers’ MLC Malka Komaraiah attended as the chief guest. Students, youth and members of the public participated, carrying the national flag and raising slogans including Vande Mataram and Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
Addressing the gathering, Komaraiah said the Tricolour should remind people of the sacrifices of freedom fighters and soldiers. He said India was progressing in all sectors under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He called upon people to contribute to building a strong, prosperous and self-reliant India and work collectively towards the vision of Viksit Bharat.
BJP state leaders Rao Padma Reddy, Dr Pagadala Kali Prasad Rao, Gunjula Premender Reddy, former mayor Dr T. Rajeshwar Rao and former MLA Marthineni Dharma Rao, among others, participated in the rally.
