Israel-Telangana Association president Soma Ravi said the present situation was more severe compared to previous incidents. “Though situations were not uncommon in Israel, locals and migrant workers in Gulf countries had not faced similar crises earlier,” he said. Referring to security arrangements, he said protective systems were in place in large numbers.
He said that due to the current situation, a planned visit to the United States for a marriage function had been postponed. He also said the next 15 days could continue to remain tense.
