GST Day Celebrated with Cycle Marathon in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: To celebrate GST Day, the Central GST and customs department, Hyderabad zone, organised a cycle marathon on Sunday, promoting fitness and health among people. The ride started at 6 am from PV Gyan Bhoomi near Necklace Road, went up to Jal Vihar, and ended at the Hyderabad Bicycling Club. The event was flagged off by Rakesh Goyal, Principal Commissioner, GST. He said it was important to stay healthy by doing simple things like walking or cycling every day. Many officers, staff and their family members took part in the event. Sports stars Sania Mirza and P.V. Sindhu helped promote the event.
