Warangal: Former government chief whip and BRS district president Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar accused the Congress government of misleading Telangana residents through gram sabha meetings, application procedures, and surveys. Speaking at a press meet in Hanamkonda on Saturday, he criticised them as time-wasting strategies to delay implementing welfare schemes and fulfilling promises.

Vinay Bhaskar alleged that Congress representatives were threatening citizens who demanded their rightful benefits, questioning whether they would resort to violence against farmers, shelterless families, or pension seekers.
Former deputy chief minister Thatikonda Rajaiah highlighted the plight of farmers under Congress rule, citing 409 farmer suicides, including that of Khaja Pasha in Mahbubnagar. He held Chief Minister Revanth Reddy accountable for these tragedies, labeling them "murders by governance."
Former minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao criticised the Congress government for using gram sabhas as election tactics and questioned Revanth Reddy's claims of attracting massive investments during Davos and Singapore visits. "Where have the promised funds of Rs 1 lakh crore and Rs 40,000 crore gone?" he asked.
