Engineering Student Goes Missing from Hostel in Rudraram

Hyderabad:  A 19-year-old engineering student studying at GITAM University in Rudraram, Sangareddy district, has reportedly gone missing after leaving her hostel.

According to the police, the second-year B.Tech student from Hydernagar was staying in the university hostel. On July 22, her family members tried to contact her over the phone but were unable to reach her. They later visited the university and were informed that she had left the hostel on an outing that evening but did not return.

After failing to trace her despite searching for her, the family lodged a complaint with the Patancheru police.

Based on the complaint, the police registered a missing person case and launched an investigation to trace the student's whereabouts.
