GHMC Panel Consider 21 Proposals Soon

Hyderabad: The GHMC standing committee is likely to accord clearance to 21 proposals during its last meeting before its term ends on February 10. Some of them include administrative sanction for Rs 160 crore for a 36-metre wide road in Miyapur, a Rs 56.45-crore stormwater drainage and sewerage network for Sanathnagar and Fatehnagar, repair and restoration of road overbridge (RoB) at Moula Ali at Rs 8.5 crore.
The GHMC is also proposing to lease out stalls at Begum Bazaar Fish Market through a tender-cum-open public auction to the fisherman community and a 50-bed community health centre at SRT Colony, Yakutpura.
“This healthcare facility has been proposed in the government land which is presently being used as playground measuring 1,025 square meters,” said a GHMC official.
“Another proposal focuses on introducing AI-backed Attendance Management System for 10,000 staff, who were working in sanitation, entomology and veterinary wings in the newly-merged 27 urban local bodies (ULBs),” he added.
