GHMC Goes Fully Cashless for Tax Collection Across All 60 Circles

Payments must be made via cheques, demand drafts (DDs), UPI, credit/debit cards and net banking, at bill collectors and citizen service centres.

Cash collections were earlier discontinued in the 30 GHMC circles and the bar has been extended to the newly merged areas.

Hyderabad:The GHMC has announced that cash will no longer be accepted for payment of property tax, trade licence fee and vacant land tax throughout its extended jurisdiction. Cash collections were earlier discontinued in the 30 GHMC circles and the bar has been extended to the newly merged areas. Payments must be made via cheques, demand drafts (DDs), UPI, credit/debit cards and net banking, at bill collectors and citizen service centres.

Following the recent merger of 27 urban local bodies (ULBs) into GHMC covering areas within and just beyond the Outer Ring Road (ORR) the corporation has taken steps to ensure a uniform tax collection system in all its 60 circles.
