GHMC Chief Fumes at Lethargic Asst. City Planner
K. Ilambarithi directs action against Malakpet town planner and Charminar medical officer for failing to resolve public grievances and procedural lapses.
Hyderabad: GHMC commissioner K. Ilambarithi fumed at Malakpet town planning wing’s assistant city planner M. B. Gajanandan, following complaints from residents that he was not solving their issues.
At Monday’s Prajavani programme, many people alleged that the official had failed to address their concerns despite repeated requests. Furthermore, they alleged that despite orders from his superiors to complete the work, the officials kept the work pending.
Meanwhile, the commissioner issued a memo to the Charminar assistant medical officer Dr. M. Jyothi Bai, over irregularities in the issuance of birth and death certificates. Complaints were raised regarding delays and discrepancies in the process.
GHMC is expected to review these issues and take action against authorities.
