Gayathri Tops Welfare School Students in SSC

Centre of Excellence Karimnagar student leads impressive performance as 113 schools achieve 100% results.

Hyderabad: Gayathri Uduthala from Centre of Excellence Karimnagar scored the highest among Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS) students in this year’s SSC public examinations. She secured 584 out of 600 marks. She was followed closely by Jyothi C of COE Gowlidoddi, Bhargavi B from Mulugu, Shwetha P from Bainsa, and Manideep B, also from COE Karimnagar, each with 583 marks. Eleven girls scored between 579 and 584, while 12 boys were in the 575 to 583 range.

TGSWREIS recorded a 97.71 per cent pass rate outpacing the state’s average of 92 per cent. Of the 17,712 students who appeared for the exams across 235 schools, 17,307 passed.

A total of 113 schools recorded a full pass percentage. Another 88 institutions had pass rates ranging from 95 to 99 per cent. Only 34 schools fell below the 95 per cent mark.

Fifty-five schools scored between 98.25 and 99 per cent, while 17 were in the 97.14 to 97.5 per cent range. Nine schools recorded between 96 and 96.83 per cent, and seven fell between 95.38 and 95.89 per cent.

The overall performance shows a rise compared to previous years, where the pass rates stood at 91.31 in 2023-24, 86.6 in 2022–23, and 90 in 2021-22.

Secretary Dr V. S. Alagu Varsini congratulated the students and thanked teachers for their work. She said that the Society remains committed to creating academic opportunities for students from marginalised backgrounds.
