HYDERABAD: IT and industries minister D. Sridhar Babu said that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy would inaugurate the office building of the Future City Development Authority (FCDA), which is under construction at a cost of `19 crore at Meerkhanpet in Kandukur mandal, on June 2 or 3.

After a visit to inspect the progress of works of FCDA office and related works under the flagship of Future City project, Sridhar Babu said the government was building Future City with global standards, laying strong foundations for modern infrastructure and rapid completion during the current administration’s tenure.

Plans include establishing a police commissionerate and housing government offices with international reach.

He also highlighted youth skill development initiatives, noting the Young India Skills University has been created through special legislation.

The minister also inspected construction progress at the Young India Skills University.

FCDA commissioner K. Shashank, Maheshwaram DCP K. Narayana Reddy and other officials accompanied him.
