Four Non-Hyderabadi Students Share State’s Top SSC Rank

Scores went as high as 597 out of 600 as celebrations broke out across schools in the city

HYDERABAD: The SSC Public Examinations 2026 results, declared on Wednesday, saw top scores across Hyderabad even as the district recorded the lowest pass percentage. Scores went as high as 597 out of 600 as celebrations broke out across schools in the city, with sweets being distributed and students gathering on campuses to share their results.

Government schools in Hyderabad featured on the list of high scorers as L. Dhilleshwari of Mahboobia Girls High School, Gunfoundry, secured 580 marks and emerged as the second topper in the Hyderabad district. Ayesha Fatima from the same school scored 575 marks.

As per reports, four students, Kunchala Vrithika Krishna from Khammam, Medhansh Srirama from Rangareddy, Narayana School, Entenuka Shashank from Sangareddy and Muddayipet Madhu from Sangareddy, secured the top score of 597. School-wise performances across Hyderabad also saw several students cross the 580 and 570 mark range.

Along with Medhansh Srirama, who is the only student in the twin cities to reach that score, Narayana Schools reported that several students secured 596 marks, including Shobhita Kopparapu, Manne Chandrahas, Tumula Nischay Pranav and Kilari Lalit. It added that 116 students scored 590 and above, while 30 students secured 591 marks and 40 students scored 590.

At Resonance Schools, Gadde Pragnan scored 586 out of 600 and secured full marks in Mathematics. He said, “I used the four-day gap between exams to divide my lessons and plan my preparation.” He lost 10 marks in languages, including Telugu, Hindi and English. Pragnan plans to pursue engineering. Celebrations took place on campus soon after the results were announced, as he met teachers and classmates.

Oxford Grammar School, Himayatnagar, recorded a pass percentage of 93. Arun Sri Sudhamshu and Sourabh Rajpurohit were the top performers from the school with 91 per cent each. Two students scored above 90 per cent, and 19 students secured marks between 80 per cent and 90 per cent.
