Formula E Case: KTR Appears Before Nampally Court
The court has ordered the physical presence of all accused named in the chargesheet on the first day of hearings.
Hyderabad: BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) appeared before the Nampally Court on Friday in connection with the Formula E case.
The ACB Special Court at Nampally has directed BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao A1, former special chief secretary Arvind Kumar A2 and three other accused to appear before it on Friday in connection with the Formula E race case, as it begins formal trial proceedings.
Former Ministers Sabita Indra Reddy and Mahmood Ali, MLA Kaushik Reddy, BRS leader Praveen Kumar, along with several other party leaders and workers, reached the Nampally Court Complex to express solidarity with KTR.
According to the chargesheet filed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in March 2026, around Rs 55 crore was allegedly transferred to a foreign firm in violation of norms during the 2023 Formula E race held in Hyderabad.
