KCR Discharged From Hospital, Advised Rest For A Week

The 71-year-old leader was hospitalized on July 3 due to general weakness, with tests revealing high blood sugar and low sodium levels, though other vital parameters remained normal.

Hyderabad: BRS president and former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao was on Saturday discharged from a private hospital after doctors gave him a clear bill of health. Doctors advised that he should be back after a week for follow up tests and check-ups. He was admitted on Thursday evening

According to a BRS release, Rao was advised rest for a week, and that he would be at the hospital next Thursday or Friday for the follow-ups. Rao, after his discharge, reached his residence in Nandi Nagar in Banjara Hills where he is expected to stay over the next week.

The release added that Rao was on good health now after concerns over rising sodium levels in his body, and what the hospital on Thursday described as elevated sugar levels and administered treatment for controlling diabetes. The BRS release also added that Rao remained active, and had been meeting with party leaders and discussing current political situation and other issues in the state and providing suggestions to the party leaders on these matters.
