Food Delivery Worker Swept Away in Open Drain in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A food delivery worker on Saturday got swept away after falling near an open drainage, highlighting the danger of travelling in wet conditions.

The victim, Syed Farhan, was pulled out safely but lost his mobile, fell in the water and was washed away along with his two-wheeler.

Telangana Gig and Platform Workers Union president Shaik Salauddin demanded that the employer compensate Farhan with a new mobile, cover repair costs of the bike and compensate him.
