HYDERABAD: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has directed affiliated medical and dental colleges to comply with interim orders issued by the Telangana High Court regarding fee collection from students. In an communication, the university registrar noted that several students had approached the High Court through writ petitions over fee collection practices. The court subsequently passed interim orders in multiple cases, copies of which have been forwarded to the colleges.

The orders cited include directions issued on December 29, 2025, and between January 8 and 9, 2026, in writ petitions related to medical and dental admissions.

The university made it clear that colleges must adhere to these interim orders without deviation. Any violation will be viewed seriously, and action will be initiated against the concerned institutions. KNRUHS has also asked colleges to submit compliance reports without fail. The directive applies to all affiliated medical and dental colleges.
