HYDERABAD: A Lufthansa flight on way to Frankfurt had to make an emergency landing at the Hyderabad airport on Wednesday morning after the pilot noticed a technical snag soon after take-off.
The plane landed safely and everyone on board was safe. The flight took off from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in the morning with about 160 passengers on board. Shortly after takeoff, the pilot found defect in the landing gear and informed the Air Traffic Control (ATC). The flight was immediately given permission to return.
As a result, the flight to Frankfurt was delayed. Lufthansa arranged alternative flights for the affected passengers.
