Farmer Dies After Collapsing in Bank

Karimnagar:A 60-year-old farmer died after suffering a suspected heart attack while depositing money at a bank in Ganneruvaram mandal of Karimnagar district on Thursday.
The incident occurred at the State Bank of India branch in Gundlapalli village.
According to police, Anumandla Balaiah, a resident of Jangapalli village, had gone to the bank to deposit money collected by a women's Self-Help Group.
While standing at the cash counter, he suddenly collapsed. Bank staff and others rushed to his aid, but he died on the spot.
The incident was captured on the bank's CCTV cameras.
Police shifted the body to the district headquarters hospital for post-mortem examination. Further investigation is under way.
