Family Protests at LIMS Hospital After Youth Dies in Road Accident
Following Goud’s death, his family members and friends gathered at LIMS hospital and reportedly confronted police, demanding compensation and action against those responsible for the accident.
Hyderabad:Tension prevailed at LIMS hospital after a 22-year-old youth, who was critically injured in a road accident, involving a Kia Seltos, allegedly driven by a minor, died while undergoing treatment on Thursday.
According to Kothur police, the deceased is Sai Goud. The accident occurred on August 15 around 11.30 pm, when the car allegedly driven by a minor, along with his friends, collided with Goud’s Pulsar motorcycle.

Kothur inspector Nagarjuna Reddy said the situation became tense as the family was already grieving the death of Goud’s father, who passed away two months ago. He said the accused driver was reportedly the son of former Balanagar MPP (Mandal Praja Parishad) Lingaiah Nayak. Police said notices were issued to the accused and he was subsequently taken into custody as part of the investigation. Goud is survived by his mother and sister.
