Devotees throng Biabani Dargah Urs; Kadiyam Srihari offers Chadar
As a Chadar was carried towards the shrine, faith found a common ground and the boundaries of religion seemed to disappear.
People from different communities came together in a celebration of devotion, peace and brotherhood at the historic Biabani Dargah in Kazipet on Tuesday night.
The shrine witnessed a colourful confluence of faith and communal harmony on Tuesday night as hundreds of devotees gathered there for the annual Urs celebrations.
The traditional Chadar ceremony was held with religious fervor. Former minister and present MLA Kadiyam Srihari participated in the celebrations and offered a chadar at the shrine. The ceremony drew devotees from Kazipet and its neighbouring areas, turning the dargah premises into a vibrant spiritual centre.
The specially decorated Chadar was taken to the dargah in a traditional procession amid devotional chants and prayers. Srihari, along with the devotees and organisers, offered the chadar at the shrine and participated in the prayers.
The Urs saw enthusiastic participation from people from different communities, highlighting the dargah’s long-standing tradition of bringing people together beyond their religious identities.
With the dargah premises overflowing with devotees, the celebrations carried a powerful message of peace, brotherhood and communal harmony.
