Ex-IAS Officer R.P. Singh Accused of Cancelling Gift Deed, Selling Land to iTowers

Hyderabad: A complaint was lodged against retired IAS officer R.P. Singh and his wife, Harvinder Kaur, alleging that they cancelled a gift deed and sold off their property to a real estate firm. The Hyderabad CCS police received the complaint and are investigating the allegations.

According to the police, SAS iTowers management filed the complaint, claiming that Singh and Kaur had sold their Khajaguda-Nanakramguda property to the firm. Part of the land had previously been gifted to their daughter, who resides abroad.

“When SAS iTowers approached banks for a loan, they discovered that a portion of the land had been gifted to the retired IAS officer’s daughter. After the iTowers management appealed, the gift deed was allegedly cancelled by R.P. Singh,” the CCS police said. “We have registered the complaint and are verifying the details.”
