EPFO Joins Hyderabad PM-VBRY Event
Prime Minister Narendra had addressed in the main event in New Delhi.
Hyderabad:A regional event related to Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana (PM-VBRY) for promoting employment generation was held here on Friday, organised by the Union ministry of labour and employment. The event was attended by around 350 participants, including 60 beneficiaries, 10 employers, representatives of industry associations, public representatives, senior state government officials and EPFO personnel. Employers also distributed 10 appointment letters to newly recruited candidates.
Prime Minister Narendra had addressed in the main event in New Delhi. “The aspirations, skills and potential of our youth will shape the journey towards a Viksit Bharat. The PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana aims to empower first-time employees and build a strong bridge between youth and industry. India’s youth will lead global growth, innovation and entrepreneurship in the years ahead,” Modi said.
In the city, Malka Komaraiah, MLC, said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, both workers and employers are being recognised as partners in the country’s growth. He said 17 crore jobs were generated between 2014 and 2024.
Komaraiah urged employers to enrol their workforce under the scheme to ensure better benefits and financial security. Speakers at the event said the initiative would strengthen the manufacturing sector, while employers and employees expressed satisfaction over being recognised and supported under the programme.
