Kid Hospitalised with Dogbite Wounds
The kid suffered multiple injuries to his leg and face, and was immediately shifted to Nallakunta Fever Hospital.
Hyderabad: The eight-year-old boy, who was viciously attacked by multiple stray dogs in Amberpet on Saturday, is undergoing treatment at Osmania General Hospital.
The boy Rithwik, who was flying kites on the Musi river banks in Amberpet’s Golnaka area, was suddenly attacked by a pack of stray dogs. The kid suffered multiple injuries to his leg and face, and was immediately shifted to Nallakunta Fever Hospital.
He was later transferred to Osmania General Hospital for further treatment.
Speaking with Deccan Chronicle, OGH Superintendent Dr Rakesh Kumar Sahay said the boy’s condition was stable.
“He is undergoing treatment for facial injuries and after complete recovery we will discharge him from the hospital”, he said.
Amberpet police SHO T. Kiran Kumar said that no police case was booked about the incident.
