Doctors Must Update Skills To Offer Modern Care: VC

Karimnagar: Vice-Chancellor of Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Dr Ramesh Reddy on Sunday advised doctors to update themselves with emerging technologies to provide modern treatment to patients.

He was speaking at a conference of the Telangana unit of the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists held at Pratima Medical College.

Dr Ramesh Reddy said anaesthesiologists play a key role in the success of surgeries and stressed the need to prioritise patient safety while adopting new technologies.

He said doctors should upgrade their skills through continuous training and scientific research, and noted that such conferences facilitate knowledge-sharing and professional interaction among medical practitioners.
