Cyberabad Police Launch ‘Coffee With A Cop’

HYDERABAD: Cyberabad police have launched an initiative called “Coffee with a Cop” to facilitate continuous interaction with the Gen‑Z generation. The programme, organised with the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), brings together students and corporate employees to share concerns and seek solutions.
Cyberabad police commissioner Dr M. Ramesh said major infrastructure projects across Cyberabad would be completed within two years, easing traffic and improving urban transport. He stressed community participation in safety and urged youth to act responsibly on roads and digital platforms.
DG (V&E, CSB & FSL) Shikha Goel, cautioned citizens against online risks such as digital arrest scams, APK file traps and fraudulent investment schemes. She warned against interacting with strangers online, sharing money, clicking suspicious links or answering video calls from unknown contacts.
Ayesha, a participant. said the platform helped young women move forward with confidence; Samskruthi stressed cyber resilience for startups; Advait urged that youth issues, including cyber and traffic concerns, be discussed.
