Cops Recover 26 Lost Mobile Using CEIR

Hyderabad: Tolichowki police with the help of CEIR portal recovered 26 lost/stolen mobile phones from eight states and handed them over to owners on Wednesday.

Syed Fiaz, assistant commissioner of police (ACP), Towlichowki division, said, “Our special teams traced the lost or stolen phones from different states such as Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.”

After completion of the legal formalities, the recovered mobile phones were handed over to their rightful owners. The recipients expressed their gratitude to the teams for their prompt action and successful recovery of the mobile phones, the ACP added.
