Congress’s ‘Fact-Finding’ Team Visits P. ‘Pilot’ Rohith Reddy’s Farmhouse
The MP also highlighted a raid conducted by the EAGLE team at the farmhouse, pointing out that out of 11 individuals present, seven tested positive for drugs.
Hyderabad:After checking the farmhouse of former minister T. Harish Rao and the one linked to BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao, the Congress’ ‘fact-finding’ team on Sunday made a visit to former MLA Panjugula ‘Pilot’ Rohith Reddy’s farmhouse in Aziznagar on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
Leading a delegation of Congress MPs, MLAs, and MLCs, Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy alleged that Rohith Reddy's farmhouse was built on land where Government Order (GO) 111 — to protect the Himayatsagar and Osmansagar — was strictly applicable. He questioned who gave the BRS leaders the right to convert land titles and construct farmhouses in a protected eco-fragile zone. The MP also highlighted a raid conducted by the EAGLE team at the farmhouse, pointing out that out of 11 individuals present, seven tested positive for drugs.
Kiran Kumar Reddy claimed that the controversial Munugode byelection poaching ring was masterminded and operated from within this specific farmhouse. The visit by the ruling Congress leaders has sparked significant political heat, with Congress demanding a thorough inquiry into the land conversions and activities hosted at the properties of prominent BRS leaders.
On March 14, 2026, the Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE) team of the Telangana Police conducted a late-night surprise raid on the farmhouse of Rohith Reddy. The operation uncovered an unpermitted weekend party involving high-profile individuals and narcotics. The raiding party was fired up on, and police investigations were continuing.
