Congress Sweeps 4 Municipalities in Suryapet, BRS Takes Tirumalgiri

Nalgonda:Out of five municipalities in Suryapet district, the Congress secured majority control in four, while the BRS claimed Tirumalgiri.

In Suryapet, Kodad, Nereducherla and Huzurnagar, Congress won a clear majority of wards, enabling the party to elect its candidates as municipal chairmen without outside support. In Tirumalgiri, the BRS secured an absolute majority, positioning itself to claim the chairman’s post through its councillors.

Irrigation minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy campaigned extensively across these municipalities, steering the Congress candidates to victory.
