Cong. Govt Is Unable To Supply Drinking Water To People: BRS MLA
There is no truth in the claim of the Congress government that electricity was not available : MLA Guntakandla Jagadish Reddy
NALGONDA: Former Minister and BRS MLA Guntakandla Jagadish Reddy on Sunday alleged that the Congress government was not even capable of supplying safe drinking water to the people in the state.
Speaking to media at Chandur in the Fluoride-Affected Munugode assembly constituency of Nalgonda district, he said the earlier BRS government had eliminated the fluorosis issue in Nalgonda district by supplying safe drinking water to every house through Mission Bhagiratha. Due to the irregular and insufficient drinking water supply in the last three years, fluorosis cases were again surfaced in the district. He strongly criticised for its alleged failure in ensuring safe drinking water supply to households.
He stated that the farmers brought to his notice that they were getting four hours of electricity supply for agriculture. There is no truth in the claim of the Congress government that electricity was not available to other states to purchase, he added.
Stating that dried-up crops were appearing everywhere in the Munugode assembly constituency, he accused Munugode MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy for lobbying for berth in the state cabinet instead of solving issues of the people of his assembly constituency.
