Collectors Hoist National Flag, Launch 4 New Schemes

Adilabad: On the occasion of the 76th Republic Day, district collectors from Adilabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, and Komaram Bheem Asifabad hoisted the National Flag and highlighted the state government's commitment to welfare and development.

Adilabad collector Rajarshi Shah announced a crop loan waiver of Rs 2 lakh for 62,016 farmers, totalling Rs 685.42 crore, and a Rs 500 subsidy on 3,27,600 LPG gas cylinders amounting to Rs 9.24 crore. Additionally, 24,438 labourers participated in NREGS projects, and 13,666 applications were received for the Indira Athmiya Bharosa scheme.

Nirmal collector Abhilasha Abhinav emphasised the distribution of four key welfare schemes — Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Houses, Indiramma Athmiya Bharosa, and Food Security Cards — to support the poor and ensure all eligible beneficiaries receive assistance.

Komaram Bheem Asifabad collector Venkatesh Dhotre, alongside Kova Laxmi, distributed sanction letters to selected beneficiaries, ensuring support for the most vulnerable communities.

Mancherial collector Kumar Deepak participated in Praja Palana programmes across the district, distributing sanction letters for approved welfare schemes to eligible candidates.

During the ceremonies, collectors also honoured police forces and awarded outstanding departmental employees, reinforcing the administration’s dedication to transparency and effective implementation of welfare initiatives.
