Collector Sets Month-End Deadline To Clear Land Grievances

NIZAMABAD: District in-charge collector Bhavesh Mishra on Friday directed officials to expedite the disposal of pending Bhu Bharati and Sada Bainama applications, setting a deadline to clear all pending cases by the end of this month.

Reviewing the progress with tahsildars from all mandals at the Integrated District Offices Complex, Mishra examined the pendency of applications, Prajavani grievances and other revenue-related matters. He sought explanations for delays and instructed officials to complete comprehensive verification before disposing of applications, while ensuring transparency and justice for all eligible applicants.

The collector also directed officials to accord priority to petitions received through the district Prajavani and the Chief Minister's Prajavani grievance redressal programmes. He asked tahsildars to upload disposal details online without delay and submit daily progress reports in the prescribed format.

Applications for Family Register Certificates (FRCs) should also be processed on priority, he said, directing officials to dispose of all pending FRC applications by August 17, deploying additional staff wherever necessary.

Mishra instructed tahsildars to inspect rice mills allotted levy paddy for custom milling at least once every fortnight and verify paddy stocks. They were also asked to identify suitable land in their respective mandals for the construction of new tahsildar office buildings and submit detailed reports.

Meanwhile, the collector issued show-cause notices to tahsildars who reported late for the review meeting. Expressing displeasure over their absence at the scheduled time, he directed all officers to strictly adhere to punctuality.

Additional collector V. Bhujanga Rao, Armoor sub-collector Abhigyan Malviya, district revenue officer Geetha, RDOs Rajendra Kumar and Vijaya Kumari, and tahsildars from various mandals attended the meeting.
