Collector Cracks Down on Late Arrivals, Absenteeism at Bhongir Hospital

Nalgonda:Yadadri-Bhongir district collector M. Hanumantha Rao on Thursday issued show cause notices to 81 employees of the District Government Hospital at Bhongir for reporting late to duty or remaining absent without permission.

The collector conducted a surprise inspection of the hospital and spent nearly three hours reviewing operations and inspecting various wards. During the visit, he found that 63 employees had reported late for duty, while 19 were absent without prior permission.

Taking serious note of the lapses, the collector directed hospital authorities to ensure strict adherence to duty timings and warned that disciplinary action would be initiated against staff found negligent in their responsibilities.
