The tendering process for the event, estimated to cost `150 crore, has been initiated. Outdoor courtyard works are targeted for completion by November 15, while indoor arrangements

and works at the university are scheduled to be completed by November 30. An exhibition featuring 25 leading companies from 10 sectors will showcase industrial capabilities and investment opportunities, the sources said.
The government is also planning cultural programmes showcasing Telangana’s traditions, folk arts, classical dances, fashion, handicrafts, cuisine and Bathukamma celebrations to an international audience.

Revanth Reddy has written to Union external affairs minister S. Jaishankar seeking the Centre’s cooperation in securing permissions for the conference. The Chief Minister said intellectuals, business leaders, policymakers, NRIs and academics from across the world were being invited.
