Revanth Plans Bhu Bharati Tribunals for Land Issues

 Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has decided to set up Bhu Bharati tribunals to resolve issues related to land in Telangana. The tribunals would streamline complaints received from farmers for corrections of errors, re-survey, owner names, father names, survey numbers and others that originated from the Dharani portal.

“If farmers are not able to get their details corrected, they can approach the tribunals on Bhu Bharati seeking immediate action. The tribunals will take action by getting details from revenue officers such as tahsildars, RDOs and collectors and will resolve the issues," sources said.

Initially, the government is planning to set up 10 tribunals in each of the erstwhile united districts of Warangal, Karimnagar, Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Nalgonda, Mahbubnagar, Adilabad, Medak, Nizamabad and Khammam. The government would appoint senior or retired civil servants and experts for tribunals.

Apart from appointing more than 5,000 private surveyors to assist existing government surveyors for conducting surveys of land, the government would update the data of agriculture lands and update the details of ownerships along with maps on the portal.

The government will also provide best facilities to farmers to get their issues solved without any delay and make genuine records on Bhu Bharati.
